Hello
I'm happy to see that people are still here!  It's been a good few
months since I started recording this album I know but at last the
finishing line is in view.  The album itself has been recorded in full
with just the mixing left to do...well with just the mixing, artwork,
video's etc left to do!  Thanks to those who have waited patiently and
to those who didn't...please come back!!

I have to say I sulked like a kid in the back of the car when I had
to leave LA.  I never thought I would say that but it turns out LA is a
pretty amazing place.  Yes they like yolk free omlettes,  cow free milk
and for some reason lots of cinnamon but I like 'em.

Getting back to the album, we managed to record 16 songs in total of
which all I'm dead happy with. In the second stage of recording Josh
Klingoffer ( sorry Josh I will find out how to spell your name some
day) who plays with PJ Harvey came to the studio for a few days and put
down some killer guitar.  Around the same time we managed to get Zac
Rae who at the moment plays with Alanis Morrisette to play some rhodes,
many variety of keyboards, bells, whistles etc.  The cherry on the cake
came in the form of  Lisa Germano who dropped in to play violin on a
couple of tracks.  We had Robert Caranza engineer the second phase of
recordings.   All these people were bloody great, the whole experience,
although  alot of time consuming hard work, was bloody great.  We even
managed to record in Cello Studio's ( Pet Sounds being just one of many
amazing albums recorded there) just before it was closed down.
Actually I would love to find out if we were the last session or not.

So there you have it, the second album is soon to be placed in the lap
of the gods but I gotta say it's wonderful to finish an album at all.
For a while there I thought I would never write again.  Oh by the way I
haven't got a title yet so suggestion's are welcome.  Ye will have to
hear some tracks of course so I'll set that up with 'a god send' Laura.

All the best
